DOWNTOWN DIGGING: ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART GRADUATE EXHIBITION

Partnering with the Royal College of Art, House of Vans London are pleased to announce the special display of DOWNTOWN DIGGING, a showcase of graduate artwork which examines the urban environment and culture of the city.

Each individual artist highlights a play on urban space, architecture, pre-conceived object function and the relationships which connect our cities spaces.

The exhibition will see a full venue take over where the works are curated throughout the venue, juxtaposing ceramics with digital and performative art within an urban space, presenting unique visual and sensory nuances between art and skateboarding culture.

Join us for the exhibition on Thursday, June 2nd from 6:30pm where we also have a line-up of artist talks, DJ’s and live performances. This powerful mix of art and the urban world inside is one not to be missed and we’ll be housing the exhibition for 2 weeks following the launch shot.

Featuring Artists: Alice Foxen, Jacob Talkowski, Zaratea Gården Hurtig, JP Guerrier, Nicholas Faris, Inger Sif Heeschen.
